Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
The Role:
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to succeed our retiring in-house expert (who will train you until he retires in June). In this role, you will act as the bridge between our heavy machinery manufacturing floor and our public-facing retail showroom.
You will not be doing this alone. You will oversee the entire workflow by managing two Assistant Managers (one leading the Production/Milling crew, and one leading the Retail/Inventory crew). Your job is to keep the machines running safely, ensure our massive salvaged wood inventory moves efficiently from raw timber to finished product, and maintain a high-standard retail experience.
Who We Are Looking For:
You have been around the block in high-stakes environments. Whether your background is in heavy manufacturing, large-scale construction management, or industrial logistics, you are a leader who understands complex workflows and the weight of high-value inventory.
You Know Wood: You can confidently talk to a customer or a contractor about wood grading, structural integrity, and custom milling for a $12,000 flooring package.
You Know Production: You understand the logistics and safety requirements of running heavy machinery (CNC profile planers, molders, brush sanders, and forklifts).
You Know People: You can manage a diverse crew of 6+, ranging from green retail associates to seasoned heavy-machine operators, keeping them productive and accountable.
You are a Systems Thinker: You see the big picture. You know how to build workflows so the facility eventually runs like a well-oiled machine without you having to micromanage every cut.
You are a Project Lead: With major facility upgrades underway (including new industrial moulder, dust collection and fire suppression systems), you are comfortable acting as the point of contact for specialized contractors and millwrights.
Key Responsibilities:
Directly manage the Production Lead and Retail Lead to ensure a seamless workflow from the loading dock to the customer’s truck.
Interface with our existing retail locations to ensure they are stocked with freshly milled lumber products.
Act as the in-house expert for complex custom-milling orders and high-value lumber sales.
Oversee all safety protocols on the production floor.
Manage staff scheduling, daily task delegation, and cross-training between the production and retail teams.
Work directly with ownership to scale the operation, integrate new equipment, and hit revenue targets.
Schedule: Standard industrial schedule with some weekend availability required during the initial scale-up phase.

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our Salvage Lumber Warehouse team. This is a dynamic, hands-on position that starts in production but has a clear pathway for growth.
Initially, your focus will be learning our inventory from the ground up: processing raw reclaimed wood, denailing, and organizing the warehouse. As you master the product knowledge and our operations, this role offers the potential to transition into a Retail & Showroom, Milling and Production, or Community Engagement leadership positions.
We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid of hard work today but has the communication skills to manage sales and customer relationships tomorrow.
