Have you heard the murmurs about an Earthwise expansion? Perhaps you’ve seen some curious videos on our social media accounts? Well, it’s all happening! We are super excited to announce that our Salvage Lumber Warehouse in SODO will be open to the public by early 2026.
What’s a Salvage Lumber Warehouse? Great question! Once fully open, the warehouse will accept lumber from residential deconstruction, demolition, and remodeling projects, as well as scrap wood from new construction. This helps reduce landfill waste while providing affordable materials for the local economy. The Salvage Lumber Warehouse will serve as a central resource for contractors, builders, and community members to access cleaned, de-nailed lumber, ready for reuse in everything from new construction to furniture and DIY projects.
We are currently accepting wood! Please contact Aaron@ewsalvage.com if you have any salvaged lumber that need to be rid of. We can accept arranged drop-offs and can also provide pick-up service.
A few weeks ago, we had a Lumber De-Nailing Workshop at the Warehouse and it was a good time! Keep an eye on our socials and newsletter for more info on future events at the space.
