We here at Earthwise always enjoy a good party and the McKinley Hill Street Fair in Tacoma is one we look forward to every year. Last Saturday the Tacoma crew had a spot right across from Top of Tacoma, handing out free popsicles and spreading the good word of salvage.
Despite the 90º+ weather, our neighbors at Rain or Shine Pizza were on site with their mobile wood fired oven. Original House of Donuts was there too, keeping everyone well stuffed with tasty glazed goodness. JoeFroyo did their part to keep the masses cool with their unique blend of coffee and frozen yogurt.
Crafters and artisans from all over the253 showed off their best work. Wane and Flitch welcomed the crowds to East Tacoma with an enormous 20′ live edge slab while artists Anthony Duenas and Shaun Rankin spray painted murals in an alley off the main road. We’ll be there next year for sure so come on out and say hello!
