This chest is made of cedar and it smells like it! The top and side veneer creates a spectacular outside appearance. Some small wear on edges but nothing major. The inside features a maker's mark from Lane, made originally in Altavista, VA. Looks like the original hinges have been replaced with some sturdy replacements. The original owner never had a key for it, so it can't lock but that doesn't mean you can't keep valuables or keepsakes in there. Needs a replacement arm to keep the truck lid open.
