This lovely metal clad trunk is likely from the 1800s and in lovely shape for her age. She is lined with original paper and still has pullout compartment intact. all hinges and latches are functional. All original hardware with only the leather straps on side degraded or missing. the top of lid shows a bit of rust, but it's to be expected
