This is a really great workbench that came out of the basement of a local Seattle home.
The top is solid 2 inch thick old growth Douglas Fir.
This workbench also features two sliding drawers, a lower storage compartment for tools/jigs, and the main storage shelf directly under the top.
One of the most interesting characteristics of this bench is the sheer amount of holes that were drilled on the top, it looks like a woodpecker got to it!
These holes may not add to its functionality, but we think they add a great deal of character that can only be achieved by years of hard work.
It is also very sturdy, there is little to no rock making it a great surface to mount a bench vise to.
We like having it in the shop for displays, so we’ll be sad to see it go, but its an awesome workbench that will serve you well if you decide to take it home with you.
