What is Architectural Salvage?

Architectural salvage is the process of removing materials from a building or home scheduled for demolition or remodeling.

Salvaged materials are reinstalled into another space for reuse or for a completely new purpose. We salvage materials that stand the test of time.

From old-growth wood flooring to antique lighting fixtures, we look for high quality materials, furniture, appliances and one-of-a-kind items.

Why are buildings being salvaged?

Like many of you, we’re sad to see historical buildings being demolished. We also know that some buildings can’t stick around forever. Rather than seeing quality items tossed into landfills, we salvage items and so they can be repurposed and enjoyed elsewhere. We’ll salvage a building when:

what do we salvage?

Wood Flooring

Lumber

Doors

Light Fixtures

Furniture

Tiles

Artwork

Kitchen & Bath Fixtures

Cabinets & Hardware

Appliances

Why is salvage important?

Salvage places are the LAST STOP before the landfill, saving hundreds of thousands of tons of material from being thrown in the dump!
