This beautiful oak mantel would look great above a fireplace with some trinkets and books on it. The front facing parts of the mantel have no chips or cracks. Upon removing it looks like it was just ripped off the wall, some small chunks missing on the back side, but that shouldn't effect the structural integrity or make it harder to mount.
