Have you heard of our “Ask-a-Pro” series coming up this July? This year on top of our regular #YEW workshops and events, we are excited to offer a brand new Q&A discussion with trade industry professionals throughout the entire month of July – #SALVAGEDESIGN Month! While we know it seems a long time away, we are excited to announce that punch cards are available as of this week at either location – read on for all the details…
How will this work? For most of the month, a salvage “pro” be coming in for a few hours at the location of their choice to answer questions and/or provide a demonstration in-store about using salvaged materials while sharing their general perspective on salvage and reuse. These sessions are only open to pass-holders (passes cost a suggested donation fee of $10+) and all proceeds collected from the event will go directly to our non-profit partners – Historic Seattle & Historic Tacoma.
Who are these Pros anywho? If you are an #EWSalvage Calendar holder, you’ll see that we’ve already got designers, contractors, preservationists, and many more skilled individuals on the calendar. Special guests currently include: Gabe Behrend of Dolan Built Construction, Kinley Deller of King County DNRP/SWD, Connie Kay Interior Design, Jak Moroshan of Modco Design, Rosichelli Design, Pete Tabor of Spacemen LLC, Harmony Weihs of DesignHarmony, just to name a few!
