The shade had one corner break off and glued back on ( price took in to consideration). The push/pull mechanism seems to working very well. But the outter covering of the cord is fraying. Affects the looks rather than operation. Common in mid century lights, this one has perforated metal above the shade which will throw a fun light) shadow pattern on the ceiling.
