African Carved Wooden Mask

This stylish wood mask is ornately carved with swirls and some kind of reptilian and amphibian design. It was handmade, most likely in Ghana around the mid-to-late 20th century when the sale of tribal-style art to tourists and visitors became popularized.
This piece measures about 11.25 x 12 x 3.5 and has a notch cut out the back so it can hang on a nail.
