This is a really unique sconce that has a lot of potential for a true statement piece! The whole piece is solid brass with the exception of the iron extension below the fixture. There isn’t any wiring but the socket remains where some used to be. Wouldn’t be too difficult of a wire job. There is some wear to the finish and some rusting on the iron portion of the sconce but it all creates a nice patina that really expresses the time that has passed during this piece’s lifespan.
