In good condition. Unfinished. This hatch cover is one of the last true wooden hatch covers made for Liberty Ships, a non-combat ship in World War II. These were built into the floors of the ship and allowed passage to lower/upper decks. Liberty ships were built to be used as workhorses during the war, and only 2710 of these ships were built.
The super heavy duty fir and iron bracing are weathered to perfection on this particular door.
