This very cool wood stove is solid cast-iron with steel, brass and chrome accents.
It appears to have been made circa 1980 based off of the manufactureru2019s plaque that is riveted into the frame stating that it was safety tested in December of 1980 at their u201cstove testing labu201d in Portland, Oregon.
This stove is very beefy! It was built to last.
It is overall in good condition, there are spots of rust on the cast iron and lower section of chrome.
It could defiantly use some refurbishment, the door seal should be replaced, but otherwise functionally its ready to go!
The height measurement only includes the height of the frame, and does not include the height of the first section of chimney pipe that is still bolted onto the rest of the stove.
We have about 10-12 feet of chimney pipe that came in with the stove.
On that topic, there is also a slightly smaller stove that is nearly identical to this one that came in with it.

One of our favorite features about this stove is all of the cute little gnomes adorning the cast brass/bronze components. They appear to be the Thelin-Thompson Companies mascot.
Lastly, when you buy this, drag along the strongest person you know to help load/unload this thing because it is HEAVY!
