Bebb & Mendel 1907 Rolland Denny Lochkelden Mansion Built-In Buffet

$2950

Salvaged by our own crew from Lochkelden, the 1907 Windermere estate of Rolland Denny, son of Seattle founder Arthur Denny, and his wife Alice Kellogg. The Spanish Mission Revival mansion was designed by Bebb & Mendel, the architects behind the Frye Hotel. It was the last remaining Seattle home where a member of the original 1851 Denny Party had lived. The house was demolished in January 2025, making this a rare surviving piece of early Seattle history.

This substantial built-in buffet is made of solid clear fir, now painted. It has large mirrored back panels, carved acanthus corbels, a mid-height display shelf, and Spanish-style strap hinge embellishments on the lower doors. Storage includes four drawers and multiple cabinet doors.

There is some minor damage from removal, mainly along the edges and base, but the piece keeps its grand presence. It's ready to anchor a formal dining room as is, or to be stripped back to its original fir and reimagined as a statement bar.

Dimensions: 122.75W u00d7 93.5H u00d7 approx. 20D
