Originally designed by Italian designer Achille Castiglioni in the early 60u2019s.
This is a later reproduction, not part of the original run in the 60u2019s.
However the later remakes still carry a substantial price tag and are still manufactured by Design Within Reach.
These lights are made from polished aluminum sheet pressed, rolled, and turned into this funky mid century shape that we find quite nice to look at.
We currently a few, so there is all sorts of opportunity in stringing a few together over a bar or kitchen island.
Though the first versions of these lights were produced over 50 years ago, their design is about as timeless as it gets.
They are in good condition, but do show signs of wear on the surface.
All the wiring and hardware is in good shape and they are ready to be installed.
They originally came out of a Microsoft building.
