This is a 1939 Zenith Model 9S-367 console radio featuring the iconic Art Deco "Robot Shutter Dial" and a walnut veneer cabinet. It's in good condition for its age, but there is some wear on the top, and its not currently working (we plugged it in and tried!) Most of the electronic components, including the tubes, appear to be there so we think there's a good chance it can be repaired! It's a VERY cool piece, and could also be repurposed with modern components to have the best of both worlds, or, reimagined as something other than a stereo! This 9-tube console is noted for its "magic eye" tuning indicator and "Radiorgan" tone control tabs, which can be filled in with little pieces of paper (we have a bunch of them!)
