We pulled this gem out of a seemingly ancient copper tube this morning to discover a truly extraordinary piece of Washington history, this map of Pierce County, Washington from the 1940u2019s is in beautiful condition. Aged having maintained fantastic ink preservation. It spans East to West from the Snoqualmie National Forest to the Budd Inlet, and North to South from Renton to Mt. Rainer. Impressively the paper has intact corners and a sheen that has proven the test of time. Two minor rips on either side seem to be the only damages. WOW! Note that a little less than a century of being coiled in a tube has made this map quite tightly wound. This piece would make for a fantastic gift, or wall decor element. Dimensions: 30.75 x 38.75
