Applied Design Custard Schoolhouse Pendant

9 x 20
A sweet vintage light fixture with a lot going on! This custard glass from the depression era does contain some uranium and it will glow green under a black light, or UV light. It has an applied design around the sides showing a pheasant in cherry blossoms with an Asian style to the art. Black and green pinstripes circle the outer edge at the bottom and the center dips down to finish with a brass tassel finial. The fitter is brass in a nice vintage style. Hard to say what the original finish was 100 yrs ago, but now looks greyish with much of the brass showing through. That may not sound very beautiful in describing it but it looks awesome with all the vintage charm intact.
This fixture holds 1 light bulb and has been rewired. This beauty is ready to be installed as soon as you get her home!
